Nadine Nischler, a midfielder born in 2000, joins Como after an outstanding season with Merano Women, where she led the team to promotion to Serie B. She began her football career in Naturno, South Tyrol, but also boasts international experience in Germany, where she played for Nürnberg for four seasons. She has received several call-ups to Italy’s youth national teams. Coming from Serie C, this marks her first-ever experience in professional football.
In her Serie A debut against AC Milan, she scored the winning goal and was named MVP of the match. Until just a few months ago, she was working a full-time office job as an accountant in South Tyrol, training in the evenings after dinner. On November 22, 2024, she received her first call-up to the Italian senior national team by head coach Andrea Soncin.
She made her debut for the senior national team in Como, at the Sinigaglia Stadium, on October 24, 2025, in a friendly match between Italy and Japan, coming on in the final minutes of the game. With the goal scored against Sassuolo on February 14, 2026 (a 2–0 win for Como Women), Nischler moves to 1 goal in a Larian shirt, becoming Como Women’s top scorer in Serie A.
She represents more than a position on the pitch. She represents a shift in how the game is played, seen, and lived. At FC Como Women, every player carries the identity of the club: fearless, ambitious, and unapologetically present.
Driven by ambition and shaped by resilience, Nadine Nischler plays with intent — every movement, every decision, every moment on the pitch.
Her presence reflects what FC Como Women stands for: a team that challenges expectations and builds its own path.
This is not just about football. It’s about creating space, taking it, and owning it.
