Ramona Petzelberger, born in 1992, joins Como following the natural expiration of her contract with Tottenham. This is her first experience in the Italian league after playing in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen and Essen, and in the Premier League for Aston Villa and Tottenham.
Internationally, she has represented her country at youth levels, winning the European Championship with the Under-17 team in 2009 and with the Under-19 team in 2011, where she was named UEFA’s "Golden Player" of the final, which was won 8-1 against Norway. Petzelberger has also earned multiple call-ups to the German senior national team.
She represents more than a position on the pitch. She represents a shift in how the game is played, seen, and lived. At FC Como Women, every player carries the identity of the club: fearless, ambitious, and unapologetically present.
Driven by ambition and shaped by resilience, Ramona Petzelberger plays with intent — every movement, every decision, every moment on the pitch.
Her presence reflects what FC Como Women stands for: a team that challenges expectations and builds its own path.
This is not just about football. It’s about creating space, taking it, and owning it.
