Italy
Flaminia Simonetti is an Italian midfielder with extensive experience in Serie A. After developing through the youth ranks of Roma CF and Res Roma, she went on to play for Roma, Empoli, Inter and Lazio.
On the international stage, she helped Italy's Under-17 national team secure third place at both the 2014 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship and the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, before earning eight caps for the Italian senior national team between 2021 and 2022.
She represents more than a position on the pitch. She represents a shift in how the game is played, seen, and lived. At FC Como Women, every player carries the identity of the club: fearless, ambitious, and unapologetically present.
Driven by ambition and shaped by resilience, Flaminia Simonetti plays with intent — every movement, every decision, every moment on the pitch.
Her presence reflects what FC Como Women stands for: a team that challenges expectations and builds its own path.
This is not just about football. It’s about creating space, taking it, and owning it.
