Astrid Gilardi

Italy

Astrid Gilardi is a goalkeeper born in 2003 from Mandello Lario. After starting out with Polisportiva Mandello and spending three seasons at Real Meda, she joined Inter Women’s Primavera team in 2017, eventually making her debut with the first team. Thanks to her goalkeeping skills and technical ability, she was called up to the Italy U16 national team in 2017, quickly progressing to the U17s, U19s and later to the U23s.

She received her first call-up to the Italian senior national team from head coach Soncin during the pre-Euro 2025 training camp. At the end of the 2025/26 season, she was named the league's Best Goalkeeper, won the Best Save award, and was selected for the league's Team of the Season (Top XI).

She represents more than a position on the pitch. She represents a shift in how the game is played, seen, and lived. At FC Como Women, every player carries the identity of the club: fearless, ambitious, and unapologetically present.
