Liucija Vaitukaitytė began her football career at the age of 12, playing for Dusetų SK Ainiai until 2012 before moving to MFK Žalgiris. In 2014, she joined FM Žara, where she played in the Lithuanian top division, finishing as league runner-up for two consecutive seasons.
In 2016, she signed with Gintra Universitetas, winning two league titles and competing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, where she scored 4 goals in 10 matches. In 2018, she moved abroad, first joining Zaragoza and then Granadilla Tenerife. In 2019, she signed with Sevilla and, in 2021, moved to Pomigliano in Italy’s Serie A, later joining Como Women after a brief stint with Parma. Liucija is one of the key players of the Lithuanian senior national team
